NAIA Ball Pitcher of the Week: Jon Jones – University of Houston- Victoria (TX)

Jon Jones – Houston-Victoria (TX) – Right-handed pitcher Jon Jones was electric on the mound for UHV when they took on #14 Central Methodist (MO) on Sunday. Jones went the distance and collected his first complete game shutout of the season. Jones struck out 7 CMU bats while only allowing one walk and spreading out five hits in the 3-0 victory. Not only did Jones pick up his second win of the season to move to 2-0, but also earned himself the Red River Atletic Conference Pitcher of the Week.
