Colt Sussex-Uphold – McPherson (KS) – Junior slugger would have himself a week in the batter’s box. Sussex-Uphold ended his week 6-12 with four home runs and 7 runs batted in. Sussex-Uphold’s performance would lead his team to a 2-1 series win over KCAC opponent Tabor (KS). Sussex-Uphold would also have two multi-homer games against Tabor (KS) this week. In the series opener, Sussex-Uphold would go 2-5 with two home runs and four runs batted in. McPherson (KS) would go on and defeat Tabor (KS) 14-12. In the series finale McPherson (KS) would fall 18-8, but Sussex-Uphold still had himself a game. He would finish the game 4-5 with two home runs and three runs batted in. Sussex-Uphold’s dominant performance in the box would win him this week’s NAIA Ball Pitcher of the Week.
