Pitcher of the week

Grant Besser – Indiana Tech University (IN) – Junior starting pitcher Grant Besser helped the
Warriors of Indiana Tech University big time, as he shutout the University of Michigan-Dearborn in a
Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference game on Sunday. The Warriors won 8-0, as Besser threw all
seven innings, giving up five hits and no runs on 85 pitches. He walked none and fanned thirteen,
making him this week’s NAIA Ball pitcher of the week.
