Team of the week
Blue Mountain Christian University had a solid week, going 4-0 to improve their record to 16-5. The
Toppers did especially well in their Southern States Conference series versus the University of
Mobile. The midweek game that was won was played at Tougaloo College. The Toppers beat the
Bulldogs 13-9. Will Crawford was seeing it well this game, as he went 3-for-3 with five RBIs and four
runs scored. His hits were a double and two homeruns.
BMCU beat the University of Mobile twice on Saturday, 9-6 and 12-5. On Sunday the final score was
18-2. Arderrius “Peeko” Townsend had himself a week at the dish as he batted .500 throughout the
week while going yard five times.
