Gabe Dirnberger – Williams Baptist (AR) – The right-handed sophomore delivered not only a flawless performance on the mound this week, but a historic one as well. Gabe Dirnberger threw a perfect game in a 21–0 victory over non-conference opponent Arkansas Baptist, etching his name into the NAIA record books. Dirnberger’s outing marked the first perfect game in NAIA baseball since February 11, 2017, when Damon Proctor of Northwestern Ohio accomplished the feat. Over seven dominant innings, Dirnberger allowed no hits, no runs, no earned runs, and no walks, while recording four strikeouts. Relying on efficiency and his ability to induce contact, Dirnberger kept Arkansas Baptist off balance all game long. His command and composure on the mound secured a historic performance and a milestone moment in NAIA baseball.
