Logan Arndt – Kansas Wesleyan – The strong, right-handed swinging first baseman had an outstanding week at the plate as Kansas Wesleyan traveled to Hobbs, New Mexico for a doubleheader against Southwest (NM). Arndt finished the series with a .571 batting average and going 4-for-7 with 12 runs batted in, six runs scored, and an incredible four home runs. His dominant presence in the batter’s box powered Kansas Wesleyan to a sweep of the doubleheader, winning by final scores of 24–11 and 19–3. Coming off a dominant showcase in New Mexico, Arndt returned home for a three-game series against conference opponent Evangel (MO) to open KCAC play and showed no signs of slowing down. He continued his hot streak at the plate, finishing the series with a .556 batting average, going 5-for-9 with three runs batted in. His performance helped power Kansas Wesleyan to a three-game sweep of Evangel, opening KCAC play with a 3–0 record.
