Pitcher of the week

Robert Kelley – WVU Tech (WV) – Junior right-handed pitcher Robert Kelley has been a great addition to the Golden Bears of WVU Tech this year. In the season, he has logged 67 innings and he has struck out 92 batters, while walking only fifteen. 

During his most recent outing versus Ohio Christian University, Kelley pitched a complete game shutout. In seven innings, he allowed just two hits, while walking none and fanning twelve. This outstanding pitching performance makes Kelley this week’s NAIA Ball Pitcher of the Week. WVU Tech won this game 16-0 and improved their record for the year to 24-20, while having a 13-11 record in River States Conference play.
