Pitcher of the week
Dominic Puccetti – Lawrence Tech University (MI) – Left-handed pitcher Dominic Puccetti faced
Cornerstone University on Wednesday during a midweek game. The fifth-year senior went all the
way in a seven-inning 10-0 victory. Blue Devils pitcher Puccetti was dominant versus Cornerstone, as
he pitched seven shutout innings, giving up just two hits while walking one. Of the twenty-four
batters he faced, he struck out sixteen. This victory improved Puccetti’s record to 5-3 on the year
and made him our NAIA Ball Pitcher of the Week. Lawrence Tech will start their WHAC Tournament
on May 1, when they face off against Madonna University.
