Hitter of the week

Drew Barragan – Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (AZ) – Senior infielder Drew Barragan is
having a good season with the Embry-Riddle Eagles. On the year, he is hitting .475 and in nineteen
games he has collected four homeruns and 39 RBIs. This past week, the Eagles played a four-game
set versus La Sierra University.
In game one, Barragan went 2-for-4 with six RBIs, both hits in this event were two-baggers. Barragan
stayed hot in game two of the doubleheader, collected two hits yet again. Both of these hits were
doubles as well. In game three, the Eagles infielder went 3-for-4 while collected five RBIs. To wrap up
the weekend, Barragan added three more hits (two doubles and a triple) to the statline.
Barragan ended the weekend hitting .667 with six doubles, a triple and seventeen RBIs, making him
the NAIA Ball Hitter of the Week.
