Hitter of the week
Jaidan Quinn – Concordia University (NE) – Senior third baseman Jaidan Quinn was scorching hot at
the plate this week. The Bulldogs started their week at Kansas Wesleyan on Tuesday. During the first
game of the doubleheader, Quinn went 1-for-2, while walking twice. His one hit was a two-run
bomb. In game two versus Kansas Wesleyan, Quinn connected for another deep fly. This time it was
a solo homerun.
During the weekend, CUNE faced off against Culver-Stockton College. Quinn went 1-for-1 with a 2-
RBI double and a pair of walks. Things started getting really hot in game two on Saturday when the
third baseman went four-for-five with four RBIs. He collected one double and two homeruns in this
game. A day later, he stayed hot, going 3-for-4 with three RBIs, once again collected a double and a
homerun. Quinn added three more hits and RBIs to the weekend in the final game of the week. Two
of the hits were homeruns, one was a double.
He ended the week going 13-for-18, scoring seventeen runs, while collected four doubles and seven
homeruns. A total of fifteen runs were batted in while he had a .741 OBP and 2.111 SLG.
